Second Sunday of Lent

On this Second Sunday of Lent, we reflect on God’s call, transformation, and hope. In the first reading, God calls Abram to leave everything behind and trust in His promise. Abram steps out in faith, not knowing where the journey will lead. In the Gospel, the disciples witness the Transfiguration of Jesus. On the mountain, they see His glory and hear the Father’s voice: “This is my beloved Son… listen to Him.”

Lent is our journey of faith. Like Abram, we are called to trust. Like the disciples, we are invited to listen to Jesus. Even when the road leads to the cross, we walk with hope, knowing that glory and resurrection await. May this Lenten season strengthen our faith, renew our courage, and help us fix our eyes on Christ.
