Passion Sunday & Holy Week

As we enter Passion Sunday (Palm Sunday), we begin the most sacred and holiest week of the Church year — Holy Week, leading us to the Easter Triduum and the joy of the Resurrection.

The Prophet Isaiah presents the Suffering Servant who remains faithful even in suffering. St. Paul reminds us that Christ humbled Himself, became obedient unto death, even death on the Cross, and therefore God exalted Him. In the Passion Gospel, we walk with Jesus through betrayal, suffering, crucifixion, and death.

Holy Week Invitation: I warmly invite all parishioners and families to participate in the Holy Week and Easter Triduum celebrations:

  • Holy Thursday – Institution of the Eucharist and Priesthood

  • Good Friday – Passion and Death of the Lord

  • Holy Saturday (Easter Vigil) – Celebration of the Resurrection

  • Easter Sunday – Joy of New Life in Christ

Let us make time to attend these liturgies, bring our families, and prepare our hearts through prayer, confession, and reflection.

+++++++
